Crock Pot Italian Chicken

Per usual, came across this recipe on Pinterest. It looks and tastes phenomenal. However, it is extremely rich! I would recommend a small portion as a side dish, because if you eat too much it won't end well. I love my crock pot. I regret not getting one sooner. They are so easy to use, so easy to clean up, and cook everything to perfection every time. Amazing.

All you'll need:
3/4 pound chicken tenders
6 ounces 1/3 less fat cream cheese
1 can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
1 pack zesty italian dressing mix
Pasta - amount and kind of your preference

I decided to cut the chicken up into little pieces to make eating it easier.
It also cooked a bit faster...

Sprinkle the italian dressing mix over the chicken.

Add the cream of chicken soup...

Add the cream cheese.

Cook on high for 3-4 hours. (Mine took about 3)
Mix occasionally.

When you're about ready to eat, cook the pasta.
Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.

Enjoy!

Don't get me wrong, this is a delicious meal. I was bit overambitious on my first serving. I think I'll definitely be making it again. Perhaps if I modified the recipe a bit, it would be less filling and rich. Overall a success!
