One container of greek yogurt
1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 egg
I have an aversion to following steps, so I just threw everything into the bowl and stirred. Although it says to mix the yogurt first, before you add the egg.
I only had strawberry yogurt so I decided to give it a go. I used blueberry in the past with good results. The batter should have a few lumps here and there.
After mixing those four ingredients together, all you'll need is:
A pan
Pam
Butter
Syrup
I find that the pancakes burn on the outside, but don't cook in the middle if the heat is too high. I put the stove on medium-low heat.
You'll know when the pancake is ready to flip when it starts to bubble all around.
Once it is flipped, about 30 more seconds on the second side and you're ready to eat!
Just add butter and syrup if desired, and enjoy!
This is one of the easiest recipe's I have ever made. I love that there are only a few ingredients. Not a lot of dishes are used, and they're ready in a breeze! I love to try out new things that are uncommon. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some of my own quirky recipes to improve on recipes with a healthy twist!
